Charlie Andrews is the founder and Captain of The Knights of Mayhem - a 13-time World Champion Heavy Armor Jouster and winner of more than 55 tournaments to-date during his jousting career. All of these tournaments were won on his faithful War Horse, and best friend, Jagermeister.
In his travels all over the world, Charlie has seen many things, and like a true knight, he has taken up the crusade for causes that are near and dear to his heart. He often rides for causes like Back the Badge during his jousting competitions. Being a veteran himself, Charlie is a strong supporter of our military, law enforcement and first responders.
Charlie is currently in the process of becoming a PATH International certified instructor. He feels equine therapies benefit both veterans and special needs children. Wounded veterans can benefit from horses in many ways - physically, emotionally and psychologically. Charlie has seen the benefits of equine therapy with special needs children in building confidence and strength.
Off the field, Charlie is a single-father, raising his children and horses. In his spare time he visits Children's Hospitals bringing some excitement to children with life-threatening illnesses.
The Knights of Mayhem maintain an average of between 6-8 Knights in our troupe.
